Chicago, San Antonio Sit Atop Latest NBA Computer Ratings

The Chicago Bulls and the San Antonio Spurs sit atop the latest computer ratings from Bias Free Sports. The Bulls narrowly edge out the Spurs in the season-long ratings by 0.59 points, but the Spurs are clearly the hottest team over the last 10 games, with 104.57 rating. Chicago, which has missed Derrick Rose much of the second half of the season, is starting to regain form and has seen their ratings trend move up over the last 8 games. The ratings are based on performance in road games versus home games, margin of victory, and performance against weaker and stronger teams (i.e., a win against Chicago would be worth much more than a win against lowly Charlotte).
